Chocolate Banana Smoothies


Chocolate Banana Smoothie


I've been experimenting with smoothies containing chocolate and bananas.  Both are great and both were ideas from friends. 

Chocolate Banana Smoothie #1
1 cup Light Chocolate Soy Milk (90 calories)
1 frozen banana, broken or chopped into chunks
Put in a blender; puree until frothy and creamy and no lumps of banana remain. Enjoy!

Chocolate Banana Smoothie #2
1 cup low fat milk (110 calories)
1 frozen banana, broken or chopped into chunks
1/2 scoop EAS 100% whey powder (chocolate flavor) 75 calories
Put in a blender; puree until frothy and creamy and no lumps of banana remain. Enjoy!


As you can see from the photos, the smoothie made with chocolate soy milk is quite chocolaty.  The smoothie made with the chocolate whey powder is not quite a chocolaty, but both are super yummy.
I honestly think you could pass this off for a milkshake. I can't get my son to try these since he's not a big fan of bananas. It's almost like having a Wendy's Frosty... for BREAKFAST!

Hey, I've lost about five pounds!  Yay!
